First Meeting (with Pizza!)
We met on Friday, August 25 to plan out the semester and of course to eat!

Football Toga Face-off!
We will be facing off against Putnam City West's JCL to see who can get the most students to the game in togas!

September 8
Ice Cream!/Certamen Sign-ups
We will be meeting to do the general planning for State and of course to eat ice-cream sundaes! Students who are interested are also encouraged to sign up for Certamen.

September 9
State Officer Meeting
Steele, Mina, Alyssa and I will be meeting with other state JCL officers to plan 2006 State convention.

September 15
Food and Planning/Dues due.
We will be meeting to do the general planning for State and of course to eat! Members will need to pay dues by this week if they want to attend the cookout.

September 22
New Member Cook Out!
We will be kicking off the new school year by having a cook-out! Everyone will gather at Mrs. Ash's parents' house (it's local) for good food and general entertainment.

September 29
Food and Planning/Bocci Practice
We will be meeting to do the general planning for State and of course to eat! We will do Bocci Ball practice after school to get ready for our showdown with French club the next week.

October
T-Shirts
Our goal this year is to have T-shirts designed and ordered by the end of October. Go to this site to see our previous T-shirts.

Bocci Ball vs French Club!
We will be having a Bocci Ball showdown against PCO's French Club after school in the courtyard.

We will be joining PCW's JCL at Lazerquest for Lazer Tag and Pizza!

OKC Area Fall Forum!
All the schools from the OKC areas will be meeting for a Fall Forum at Moore High School! We will have colloquia and fellowship and fun!

OU Classics Day
Every year, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving break is dedicated to celebrating the Classics and enjoying companionship with other high school Latin classes.

December
T-Shirts
Submissions for designs for the state JCL t-shirts begin around this time. Let's try to submit at least one T-shirt idea--so far every year the hosting school has had to design the state shirt (that means us this year!).

December 1

Saturnalia Party
Celebrate Saturnalia with a gift exchange, decorated tree, and creating decorations for a nursing home. We will also be checking Toys for Tots submissions to be sure they follow the rules.

December 9
State Officer Meeting
Steele, Mina, Alyssa and I will be meeting with other state JCL officers to plan 2006 State convention.

December 16
JCL Day Out
This is a day for us to show our JCL pride! We will be handing out cards and decorations at a nursing home, then hitting a mall in togas to see who will take pictures with a toga-clad person.

January 31

February 1
State and National Dues
State and National Dues must be postmarked by this date in order to be a club in good standing. If they are not, and we are not a club in good statnding, then we will not be allowed to attend State or to have State officers!

State Preparation
It's crunch time! We need to work hard to make this year's State as great as possible.

March 30-31
Oklahoma JCL State Convention
We are hosting, so expect to live, breathe, eat, and think State Convention all week!
